Amsoil Proof
Do yourself a favor, check out Amsoil -1st in synthetic lubricants for your car and everything else!
Why is Amsoil superior to petroleum oils that you find everywhere in the stores?
Because the big oil companies are "locked in" to selling the oil that they are pumping out of the ground. It's a win-win for them. They sell a product you have to change every 3K miles (or 6-7 with their "Full Synthetics" i.e. Mobil One that actually has close to 50 percent petroleum-despite what they'd like you to believe from their advertising).
Amsoil puts their dollars into research & development instead of marketing an overpriced inferior product that you have to buy 7 times as much as Amsoil.
Independent tests:
NOAK volatility test: In a hot environment, Amsoil boiled off only 6.76% vs the next best, Castrol 11.53% . Castrol lost 17.99% of volume!
4 Ball Wear test: A ball bearing was rapidly rotated for an hour on top of three others with pressure for an hour. Measuring the wear scar on the bearing showed Amsoil with the smallest scar - about 1/2 of the competiion.
Film strength tests: Where the oil is squeezed between metal plates. Amsoil could take 10 times the pressure that the others broke down!
First in developing synthetic oil, and first in quality!
You wonder how this is achieved... The Amsoil molecules are uniform. Saturated, so that there's no reaction from combustion byproducts; therefore, no sludge. There's no irregular molecules that could not be removed. as contrasted with conventional petroleum oil, (including hydrocracked 49% petroleum oil, called "fully synthetic" Mobil 1) from the petroleum refining process.
The film strength of Amsoil is greater than water, so "packets" of water (as water is natural byproduct of combustion) are trapped in the stabile Amsoil, and evaporate rather than accumulate as with conventional petroleum oil.
Furthermore, since Amsoil is saturated molecules, there's no reaction with any of the petroleum byproducts. In other words, you avoid sludge and sulfuric acid accumulating in your engine.
At the same time, the Amsoil has a "tenacity" that clings to the metal moving parts, resulting in minimal wear & long engine & equipment life!
Not only that, but in cold temperatures, (like here in Minnesota!!!) the Amsoil has a very high coefficient of temperature. I.E, Amsoil really flows in sub-zero temperatures, so reduces the engine trauma in extreme cold weather starts!!
I put those exclamation points on there in all seriousness (as any Minnesotan will attest!).
No wonder Amsoil is the oil of Champions in the Snowmobile Championships!!
You wonder what Amsoil is made of....
It's a combination of high quality synthetic basestocks, with superior additives, in oils from sunflowers, soybeans, and animal byproducts. (Sorry PETA...)
Amsoil has developed, and continues to create specialized synthetic lubricants since the '60's. Amsoil is so much respected, that its founder, A.J. Amatuzzio, has been inducted to the Lubricants Hall of Fame!
In this time of extreme burning of fossil fuels, and the unfathomable disposal of waste oil from millions of vehicles, we can help just a little bit by switching our cars & equipment to Amsoil. Just do the numbers to see how it can help-- if a demographic segment switched......
